Origins
Landwolf comes from the same scrappy, early internet comic vibe that shaped a lot of Matt Furie’s world. Not a copy, just that same handmade feel: weird, funny, slightly burnt out, but somehow still cruising forward like nothing can touch him. He’s a wandering character, always in his car, cigarette hanging, glasses on, heading toward some horizon he probably didn’t plan for.
He represents that tired but still-rolling meme energy. The guy who’s not trying to be deep or important, he’s just here, moving, letting people join the ride if they want.
And he fits on Monad because he hates slow chains. He wants speed, clean execution, and room to move. Monad gives him that. It feels like fresh pavement instead of a traffic jam, which is exactly the kind of place a character like Landwolf belongs.
